Hi! Here’s a little about me…

I decided to start my journey into the design world when I discovered my love for both technology and fine arts. I researched careers and majors that involved both of those things and ended up applying for ACC’s two-year UXUI Certificate program, where I graduated Spring 2023 now as a User Experience Designer.

From there, I am attending Concordia University Texas to continue my education for the next two years to earn my bachelor’s degree in applied business in 2025 and hope to work full-time as a UX designer in the future.

I currently work part-time with Naturetats. Working there, I process orders and help run pop-up stands at events, while doing some UX work on Naturetats.com on the side.

Outside of work and education, I am an adventurous artist, dabbling with all kinds of media, focusing on paint pouring and resin art. I also enjoy reading a book and playing guitar in my free time.

How I can help you:

Wireframing

Presenting information and outlining the structure and layout of a page from low-fidelity to high-fidelity that conveys the overall direction and description of the user interface.

UX Research

Gathering insights about user’s behaviors, needs, feelings, and pain points through observation techniques and feedback methodologies.

UX Writing

Creating clear, concise, and helpful language that matches the product’s voice, meets business needs, and improves the user’s experience.

Prototyping

Constructing wireframes into a mid-to-high fidelity working model of an app or webpage that test the level of functionality of a site.

What’s it like to work with me?

My coworkers have described me as sweet, reliable, and determined.

I think it’s because I’m a hard working person, I like to be very passionate about my work. I tend to take leadership in projects, while making sure everyone on my team is included and updated on what’s going on.

While working on projects I like to keep things fun, light-hearted, and efficient. I take my work seriously, but I don’t like to take myself seriously. I’m very cheesy so be prepared for some puns, crazy what-if conversations, and lots of laughter.

My life outside of UX

When I’m not designing, I’m experimenting with the art of acrylic paint pouring and resin art potentially to create furniture and quality pieces. You can also find me with my nose buried in a true crime book, learning new songs on my guitar, or finding a new restaurant to try.

I do have an eclectic mix of hobbies, this summer 2023 I just learned how to build my own PC from scratch! Whether it’s backpacking through the Marufo Vega loop trail in Big Bend National Park or learning how to crochet cozied up inside, I always have a project I’m working on.
